How do counter-offers work?
If a quote is close but not quite right, the customer can Counter with their own price.
- The customer and the business take turns. After a business quotes, the first counter is the customer's.
- Each side can accept the latest price, counter again, or walk away.
- When a price is accepted, the booking is confirmed straight away at that price. If a business accepts a customer's counter, the customer is booked. There's nothing else to do.
- Once one quote on a need is booked, the others are declined automatically.
Nobody can accept or counter while quotes are still sealed.
