How do I choose how far needs reach me?

Go to Insights → Service Area and set Maximum Service Distance, from 1 to 100 miles (it starts at 10).

A need reaches you only if the customer is inside your distance and you're inside the distance they chose. On the same page you can also say whether you accept walk-ins.
